We stayed at Pomelo in Troncones during a recent family trip , and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Pomelo has a beautiful sense of style — relaxed, tasteful and perfectly suited to the rhythm of the coast. The design feels effortless and airy, with spaces that invite you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. One of the things we loved most was the immediate access to the beach. Within just a few steps you’re on what truly feels like one of the best beaches along this part of the Pacific coast — wide, peaceful, and perfect for long walks, swimming, and watching the sunset with the family. A highlight of our stay was El Chiringuito, the restaurant on the property. The Mediterranean cuisine was excellent — fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared dishes, and a menu full of simple but refined flavors. It’s the kind of place where you plan a quick lunch and end up lingering for hours. Pomelo is the kind of place that combines style, comfort and an unbeatable beachfront setting. For families looking for a relaxed stay in Troncones with great food and easy beach access, it’s truly a special spot.

Our experience at Hotel Pomelo was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Ángela, Fran, and their wonderful team made us feel completely at home. Even after an unexpected health situation, they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and cared for — a true reflection of their hospitality. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, combining charm and comfort perfectly. The restaurant is outstanding, with delicious dishes and a relaxed atmosphere. Special thanks to Gloria, Dani, and the entire staff who made every meal even more enjoyable! We can’t wait to return — this was truly the best hotel experience we’ve ever had.
Incredible experience from start to finish! The team at Pomelo and El Chiringuito were wonderful and made our long weekend amongst friends trip so memorable. The rooms are spacious, comfortable with beautiful shower products :) and all have a stunning view over Troncones beach with a lovely terrace. The team organised sunrise yoga classes, massages as well as a camp fire after dinner. The food was simply delicious! I cannot recommend this hotel enough..
Hotel Pomelo was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully designed. The common spaces are gorgeous and perfectly set right on the oceanfront, making it a truly relaxing place to stay. The biggest highlight is the staff that were fabulous — warm, attentive, and professional — and the service was honestly the best we’ve experienced in Mexico. The food was excellent as well. I literally wouldn’t change a thing! We can’t recommend Hotel Pomelo highly enough
I honestly didn’t want to leave. This place is pure magic — the kind that makes you slow down, breathe, and smile for no reason. Waking up to the sound of the waves, jumping into the pool that melts into the ocean, showering under the open sky… it’s heaven. Ángela and Fran are the heart of it all — warm, generous, and passionate. And the food at El Chiringuito de Fran? Out of this world. Every meal feels like a celebration of good taste and good vibes. If you’re dreaming of barefoot mornings, sunsets that take your breath away, and the kind of peace you don’t find often… this is your spot. Troncones perfection.
Hotel Pomelo is truly paradise. It offers a serene location steps from the beach and all the staff made us feel so welcome. It was the perfect location for a group of friends to visit and we all felt like we had so much space to truly relax. From the restaurant, to the pool to the pergola we felt like we had our own villa to enjoy. Angela made everything so easy for us to leave all our worries behind. When you stay here you really never have to leave the property because the restaurant on the property is 10/10. Can’t wait to go back!
